Manam/Namnam describes itself as a resto that serves comfort Filipino food.
Basically, Filipino food with a twist!
Here's what we got!
but first, the menu~~~
For our drinks we got: Ube Sago, Gabi Black Sago and Mango Pomelo Coco Cream shakes
and had the SET A meal for dinner ;)
this set includes:
A bowl of rice
Sinigang Beef Short Ribs w/ Watermelon
Crunchy Ubod and Sotanghon lumpia
House Crispy Sisig
and Turon of Mango & Kesong Puti <3
~ good for 3-4 people, P999
Watermelon Sinigang
-you'd think all those red things would be tomatoes but it's actually watermelon!
This was really the highlight of our meal. The sweetness of the watermelon blended well with the sour-y base of the soup. Yum!
Crispy Sisig
-Nothing special. It just tastes the same with all other sisigs I've tried hehe
But they do have the Corned beef sisig which I think is worth a try :)
Ubod and sotanghon lumpia
- this was really filling though a bit oily.
Anyway, I've always preferred fresh lumpia over fried hihi
Mango + Kesong Puti Turon
-aaah this was really yummy! I could've finished all of these if I wasn't so full consuming all the other dishes!
Very nice twist for a turon!!! <3
couple shot haha
***updates
Crunchy Salt & Pepper Squid Rings served w/sweet chilli sauce
-it really is crunchy but too peppery for my taste
Munggo and Chicharon
- super love this! it has loads of tinapa, pork belly and suahe.
Flavor is very rich. One of my fave munggo dishes ever!
