Siquijor, Aug 2014

So nice to be able to go back to Siquijor a few weeks ago!
We have already went here last December but we stayed in a different town and the beach wasn't really nice so now I'm excited to show you the best part of Siquijor (IMO) ;)

We stayed at Salagdoong Beach Resort in the town of Maria.
Roughly, it takes about 1.5-2 hours to get here from the port.

We stayed at the villa near the beach. They have rooms uphill but I think it's tiring going back and forth if you wanna swim or eat.
The villa costs P1,600/night good for 3-4 people.

We arrived lunch time and the water was at its perfect hue omg!

Yes, there's a slide that leads straight to ocean water LOL

but it's out of order, unfortunately =P

They have 2 twin beaches.
This side has stronger waves, more rocks and cleaner water.

The other side has weaker waves, less rocks but dirtier water coz of the leaves floating around haha
We prefer to swim here though.

They have a diving spot too!

Meals at Salagdoong are a bit expensive ranging P100+ for a viand w/o rice =/

The next day,we decided to go to Cambugahay falls since we weren't able to go here last time.
It takes about 40 minutes to go here by motorbike from the resort and there's NO entrance fee ;)

You need to walk more than 100 steps going down.

The falls was just absolute beauty!
It was also nice that there weren't much other people when we came yay!

It has 4 or 5 levels I think? lol
We only went to 3 and this is the top most part we were able to go to.

Ahhh, I'm in paradise <3

My shower is bigger than yours! haha
This is at the 2nd level

The 1st level is the most fun as you can swing and free fall as much as you like!

We also dropped by the famous Cang-Isok house which is the oldest surviving house in Siquijor.
It's a 200 yr old ancestral house that has been withstanding all the typhoons and other natural disasters strongly wow!

Last stop was a lovely church which name I forgot, sorry hehe :)
