After our Misibis escapade, we decided to stay in the city for another day to go and dine around ;)
Since this is not our first time in Bicol, we just had a laid back city tour.
First stop, was at Legazpi Boulevard.
Of course we had to take a pic of the big "Legazpi" signage!
It resembles Manila's Roxas blvd with a lot of food kiosks on the side.
So many people were jogging in the area too!
MUST-EAT in Bicol, sili ice cream from 1st Colonial Grill!!!
I actually like it, you can choose the level of spiciness from 1-3 (3 being the highest)
I also got the kamote and taro/gabi flavors.
Malunggay, cucumber and pili nut.
Interesting flavors!
Tinutungang Manok
-an authentic Darageño dish of chicken, green saba mixed with ginger, lemongrass cooked slowly in tinutungang gata~
Kandingga
-Bicol's version of Bopis
Love this! perfect with rice <3
Check out Embarcadero for some shopping, dining and entertainment.
the 17th century old Daraga Church
nice view of the city and...
Mayon!
there's a mini museum which features some antique paintings and religious statues
interiors of the church
the BEST halo-halo ever from DJC!!!
#WhenInAlbay, buy all the pili nut LOL
try the bottled Laing and Bicol Express too! NOM <3
