Hidden Valley, Alaminos Laguna

We all know that Laguna is the place to be, if you want to immerse yourself with natural spring water.
There's so many hot/cold spring resorts nestled in the area.
But in the town of Alaminos, this gem aptly called Hidden Valley is definitely one resort you shouldn't miss!

The resort has a variety of natural spring pools which all have an amazing scenery!

*ehem* need i say more?
What the main pools look like from the top view.
There are basically 3 big pools with warm spring water that are somewhat stacked on top of each other. BEAUTIFUL!

What the uppermost pool look like.

Love that there's also a mini waterfall perfect for photos!

decided to climb on the cascade and take this fake candid shot lol

there's also a pseudo jacuzzi  beside the mini waterfalls!!

what the 2nd level looks like...

taken at the 3rd level

it really is impossible not to camwhore!lol

❤  ❤

Next are the soda and lovers' pool.
Both pools are not connected to the main pools so you have to walk a bit to go here.

It was both okay but the main pools are much better.

********************************************************************

We took the day tour package by the way.
Cost was P2200/person which includes a lunch buffet and an afternoon snack.

Wasn't able to take a pic of the buffet spread but this was it, pretty much.
Selections were some salad, noodles, roasted chicken, fried spring roll, pork and beef stew.
There's also a misua soup and some desserts available.

The afternoon snack were composed of different rice cakes like palitaw, maja blanca, biko, puto, kutsinta etc. They also served lomi and ginataan. YUM!

After lunch, we decided to trek to the "hidden falls".
Going there would take about 45 minutes with a gorgeous view of the tropical rain forest.

There's so many gigantic trees in the area.
It felt like I was in Jurassic Park! bwahahaha

One of the century old trees that fell down during the typhoon.

Good thing is that they made use of its giant trunk as a pathway going to the falls.
smart move!

adds more charm dontcha think?!

....and here is the disappointing hidden falls! lol
I wish the resort would clean up the area and maintain it well..
There's so many spider webs on the rocks and mosquitoes lurking around! YIKES

ending this post with another shot of the lovely main pools!
