Siquijor Sights

Before leaving Siquijor, we decided to rent a tricycle so that we could go around the city.
Casa dela playa was a bit far from the city sights and getting their city tour is a bit expensive so we just opted to do this after check out ;)

First stop

Yes, this is all natural spring water.
You could take a dip here for free *awesome*

Next stop is the enchanted 400-year old balete tree!
This is basically the oldest and the biggest in Siquijor.
This magical spring emanates from the base of the tree and flows straight into a man-made pool ~wow!

Can you see the fishies?

Time for some fish spa action lol

#FeetSelfie haha

They don't like to clean my feet =/

I think my feet are too clean. The fishies are totally ignoring! hahaha

Another must-see is the Lazi Church.
Standing since 1884! Im sensing some UNESCO World Heritage listing soon lol

Across the street is the Lazi Convent.
The biggest convent in the Philippines and might be even in Asia(!)

I love how the branches of the acacia trees add some kind of dramatic effect to the picture haha

Then it was time for some beachin'!

We didn't have time to swim since we still had a return trip to Dumaguete in the afternoon.

So I just camwhored and frolicked around  hihi

Not as astounding as some of the famous beaches here in Ph but still a lot better than the beach we had in Casa dela Playa.

Shell souvenirs :)

Siquijor Dec 2013

Finally had time to sort out my recent trip to the Visayas region last December.
I have a whole bunch of photos to edit but let me show you first my Siquijor pics at the resort we stayed in ;)

Stayed at Casa de la Playa
Roughly around 10-15 minutes from the port.

Reception is inside their lovely resto <3

Very festive eh?
They don't have wifi in the rooms but you can get it here.

Off to our villa!

I love the Grecian feel of this resort.

And this pathway is just perfect for photo-ops

only for us! haha

our lovely igloo inspired bed <3 so cute

beautiful view from our balcony

time for a swim!

perfect view to end the day

Low tide in the morning o_O

So many starfish and sea urchins in the area!
