Happy New Year!

Sorry for the lack of updates for the past 4(?) weeks.

Just got really busy over the holidays and also with my recent trip to Japan, which I will blog very very soon!

Now, just need to sort out all my long overdue supposed "December posts" lol.

Let's start off with my dining experience at Hatch 22 woot~

If you don't go to Rockwell often, you may have a difficult time finding its location since it's quite hidden.

Just remember to go right inside the pathway that's near Rolex and you'll find Hatch 22 at the end!

They serve different kinds of brunch specials both local and international ;)

Plus, "healthy" meals for the weight conscious peeps. Nice!

I got the Tapsi 2.0 P350

Basically, Tapsilog with tomatoes,salted egg and pickled veggies.

You could also request for the crunchy eggs -like mine or sunny side ups :)

Boyfie got the Omelet No. 3 P270

Which had onions, spinach, mushrooms, ham, cream cheese, potato hash, loaf and tomatoes on the side.

Wow! this is the smoothest omelette I've ever seen!!

Sadly, this is my last entry for my GenSan posts =/ huhuhu

It takes about 45 mins to get here by bus from GenSan.

You could buy a variety of fruits at a cheaper cost in this town.

But our agenda for that day wasn't to buy fruits..

it was to see the pineapple plantation!

We originally planned to visit the Dole plantation in Polomolok.

But reservation is required to do so and we didn't have the time to do that anymore.

well there's no difference I guess..same land with a looooot of pineapples!

Lake Sebu

One popular site to go to when in Gen San is Lake Sebu.

From GenSan, take a bus to Marvel then transfer to a shuttle van going to Lake Sebu and finally rent a motorbike/habal-habal to the falls.

It takes about 3-4 hours to get there.

Entrance fee is just P20

 the 7 falls of Lake Sebu

-you can easily see all 7 falls when you zipline ;)

you can just take a photo-op if you're scared to do the real zipline ;)

another fun activity you can do is the zorb ball!

when you get to the restaurant, be sure to order some of their tilapia dishes <3

we got the chicharon style tilapia, chopsuey

and tilapia "lagpang" style

everything was delish!

unfortunately, it started to rain a few mins while we were eating :(

fog suddenly appeared that I didn't opt to do the zipline anymore huhu #NoView

the water turned to a chocolate color too lol

so sad, hopefully i can go back and try out the zipline!

We then headed to the "lake" where most fishermen harvest their tilapia

ready to be grilled/cooked! haha

Gumasa Beach, Glan

A side trip you can do while in Gen San is to go to Gumasa Beach in Glan, Sarangani.

It takes about 45mins to get here from GenSan :)

Fun fact: It is dubbed as the "Little Boracay of South Mindanao"

This is really packed during the summer but completely empty on a regular Tuesday morning of November haha
