Daegu

Part of my Korea Itenerary was to meet my students.
Since most of them live in Seoul, I asked them to meet me in Daegu which is a bit near Busan.

We decided to ride the KTX (Korea Train Express)! which is the korean version of the bullet train/Shinkansen line of Japan.
Just go to Busan Station if you wanna experience the KTX too ;)

Travel time from Busan to Daegu only took around 45 minutes!
Price was pretty reasonable too. 14,000 or $13 per person for a one way ticket.

It was already noon when we arrived Daegu so we didn't have much time to go around.
We just decided to go to the city center and walk around.

Daegu is really nice for shopping.
They have this Underground shopping center(not in picture) which sells a lot of trendy clothes/shoes/accessories. I highly recommend it! :)

My students and I also decided to buy matching friendship rings kkk ;)

Before coming to Korea, my friend who works for Asiana airlines suggested I should try out Kyochon which is similar to Bonchon! hehe
I asked my students to look for a branch in Daegu. Thank God for google maps, we were able to locate it using their phone hahaha

My student, Sarah

We got the mixed flavor combo, spicy and original flavors. Soooo good!
Better than Bonchon! The only problem is that they don't sell rice haha
This would have been perfect with rice <3

Time was so fast, they needed to go home early so we just camwhored on the streets LOL

Shawn, Lisa, Sarah and Michelle

Decided to take pictures of the park too hehe

Hopefully, I can go back Daegu to explore the city more!
