Right after our stay in Moalboal, we went straight to the town of Samboan to chase some waterfalls! ;)
HOW TO GET HERE:
1. From Moalboal, we rode a bus going to Samboan (P140, one way)
-travel time was an hour and 30 minutes
2. Tell the conductor to drop you off at Aguinid Falls
-the path going to Aguinid is just by the highway so it's very convenient
3. You will see a signage for Aguinid; just walk straight and you'll see the main entrance to the falls (pic above)
There's an entrance fee of P20 (Filipinos) and P40 (Foreigners)
A tip for the tour guide would be up to you
~ps: pls don't be stingy lol :)
What amazes me about Aguinid is that it contains 7 levels/tiers of waterfalls.
So be prepared to do some rock climbing, hiking and trekking going to the top!
I can't remember well but I think it took us an hour to reach level 5. (The guide said level 6 & 7 are a bit dangerous to climb)
It really depends on how fast you walk/climb and how long you spend your time taking photos on each level lol
I highly recommend you come early though. The place is getting popular among tourists and it's not a good sight to see other people photobombing your beautiful pics with mother nature =P
In our case, we arrived at 8am on a weekday and we were the first ones to arrive! lucky us <3
Also, bring some waterproof cases for your gadgets or better yet, bring a waterproof camera so you could easily take some snaps!
And don't rely too much on the guide with your photos.
In our experience, I gave my camera and phone to the guide so she could easily take our pics...
but to my dismay, a lot were blurred and some were zoomed too much! =/
Ugh never again (!) so yea, just remember I warned you...
I think climbing this huge rock was the biggest challenge we had!
But all is well once you reach the top!
Taken at the 3rd level
Here's a video of the falls <3
wuhoo natural shower!
Our jacuzzi is better than yours lol =P
Finally, level 5!
Soooooo beautiful! and it's all to ourselves! nyahaha
video of level 5 <3
even at the very end, you still need to do a lil bit of climbing lol
happy couple <3
One of the best falls ever!
