The last leg of our Gigantes tour was Bakwitan Cave.
After our hefty lunch in Bulubadiang Island, we went straight back to Gigantes Norte and rode a motorbike to the cave.
Time for some hike.
Don't worry, it's just a few steps up ;)

Just like any other cave, you could find some lime stone formations inside ;)
Our guide said, you could tell if it's still alive if it sparkles like this.
Apparently, it's very sensitive to touch and easily stops forming when it contacts with human hands =/
One interesting sight in the cave are these very long roots of a Balete tree that grew past the ground from above!
Some adventure crawling onto these small holes.
These were used as passages to the deeper part of the cave so that the locals could hide from Japanese soldiers back in the day.
From this point, we have the option to climb this limestone up to the exit.
We decided not to continue anymore and just go back the entrance since we're too tired from the island hopping experience lol
