Talikud Island, Davao Sept 2015

When in Samal, one of the places you shouldn't miss is Talikud/Talicud Island!
Just look at that beach!

We got the tour package included in our booking in Hof Gorei.
It takes less than an hour from the resort plus you get to visit other snorkelling spots!

So nice ~ I was so excited to visit here upon looking at images of this island on google and instagram!
Search for yourself and be mesmerized <3

The beach has a long stretch of white sand but you'll only get to see it beyond those somewhat wooden barricades.

White sand, turquoise blue waters and no crowd! wuhooo!

mom enjoying herself =P

clear waters of talikud <3

lunch was grilled tuna, pancit and fresh fruits!

We then headed to Coral Garden for some snorkelling!

Hof Gorei Resort, Samal Davao Sept 2015

Catching up with my other long overdue vacay posts!

Got to visit Davao again after several years!
I think the last time I went here was in 2009 and we stayed in Pearl Farm ;)

This time, we decided to stay in Hof Gorei Beach Resort
That's Rhea (on the side) - you get to have your own personal butler for the duration of your stay!
nice <3

The villas are nestled on the hill so you have to climb 300 steps from the beach to get there lol
But it's all worth it once you see the view :)

breakfast/lunch/dinner with a stunning view!
Though we mostly ate our meals at their restaurant (mid level) coz of wifi LOL

Love how peaceful and relaxing it is here.
Lots of greenery, plus there are some toucan birds flying around!
The owner loves to take care of different bird species so you'll get to spot them on your stay!

our lovely room <3

yummy lunch upon our arrival!
Most of the dishes they serve are really healthy and with a big serving!

a portion of the "steps" I mentioned earlier....

They have a nice pool too.
Easily accessible from the villas.

the beach front~
super low tide in the morning that you have to walk so far to reach swimmable level lol
