Lunch Buffet: Acaci at Acacia Hotel

And my buffet posts just keeps on continuing *evil grin*

For my 6th lunch buffet entry, I present to y'all Acaci at Acacia Hotel Alabang 

If you've been driving along Commerce Avenue along Filinvest then you've

probably seen this hotel along with the Audi showroom and Commerce Center ;)

Verdict:

FOOD

To be honest, I didn't expect much since I've been hearing some negative reviews from my facebook friends lol. But you know it's always better to judge something from experience and I'm glad to tell you that I actually enjoyed the food here :)

I recommend the fresh spring roll, sushi, beef stew, salmon and yes, the bread pudding too hehe <3

SERVICE

My only complaint would be the staff not serving us water immediately.
It's like this. We were seated, we got food. After 10 minutes of eating, still no water -_-
Isn't it SOP to serve water once the guests had been given a sit??

So yea basically, I almost suffered from extreme choking and there was no water to be found on the table =/

THE MAIN QUESTION

Yes, Of course.
Despite the traumatic water service lol. I guess we just had a bad server.
But overall, I was still satisfied with their food :)

Monday Divi Shopping

Finally after months of not visiting Divisoria, I finally had the time to go earlier today. Yay!

Brief info if you're unaware: Divisoria is the best bargain place to go to when you want cheap and affordable shopping in Manila! and the most popular place to go to is 168 mall.

So without further ado, here's my loot!

Bought items for me, my mom and my niece <3

Shopping aside, another thing I look forward to when I'm at 168 mall is eating!

168's food court offers a variety of cuisines/dishes but these two are my favorite <3

Puto bumbong and thai iced tea!! yum!

Eng bee tin also has a store there.

And lookie what I found, ube siopao!

This is my first time to try Eng Bee Tin's siopao.

I originally wanted to get the spicy minced pork but it's not available so got the asado instead.

One word, YUMMY. I know asado is a typical flavor but EBT's version is really good.

They don't skimp on meat and you don't need to add sauce anymore.

That's how good it is ;)

Lunch Buffet: Cafe Eight at Crimson Hotel, Alabang

Yay! near my place again lol

Crimson Hotel is a relatively new hotel here in the south.

They just opened December last year and the location is just perfect since it's just in front of Festival Mall! Eat lunch then go shopping! Y not?! hehe

Crimson's lobby is just sooooo pretty. Just look at that stained glass <3

And the yellow-blue color scheme is so refreshing!

The Salad bar on this round table will be the first one to greet you upon entering.

And let me just say that Crimson's salad bar is the best I've ever had!

This is the only buffet that I've been to that offers arugula! Super plus points!!! lol ;)

And they have a variety of toppings and mix'ns/sides as well.

Usually, salads only have a few selection in a buffet but in Crimson, it's quite a lot..which is good!

Verdict:

FOOD

I'd give the salad bar a 10/10. The best out of all the hotels I've been to.

However, they didn't offer steak when we went there :(

The other dishes were okay. Nothing groundbreaking really.

So overall, I'd give it a 7/10

SERVICE

No complaints/violent reaction from me.

Service was excellent as usual.

Will I go back?
