Jeju Loveland, March 2015

One of the popular attractions in Jeju is this park, Jeju Loveland.
It's quite far from Seogwipo and after a failed attempt to go there via bus, we just took a taxi.
The ride took more than an hour and cost 40,000 won or about P1,600

Reminder though, children below 18 years of age are not permitted to enter here.
So with that being said, please don't proceed reading this post anymore if you are underage ;) LOL

A wall of hearts with designs symbolizing different countries will welcome you upon entering.

The naughtiness starts with this toilet =P

The first artistic(?) lol structure you will see at the Loveland haha

Yea, the park is basically surrounded with these kind of statues!!

There's even a boobie hills haha

The mini museum

Different vibrators, dildos in all shapes and sizes!

Souvenir shop for all your sexual needs/fantasies lol

back outside~~

nyahaha =P

oh hello there~

At the cafe where you could get these nipple and penis shaped waffles!
It has red bean filling too ~YUM =P

had ice cream as well but it's just a normal shape haha

Ending with this bicycle "massager" for the females LOL

Jeju Island, March 2015

So last March, we decided to go to Jeju Island and finally see the popular spot for holidays/vacations in Korean dramas ;)

If you're flying in with Jeju Air, don't worry if you arrive early at the airport and the counter is still closed. In our experience, it opened up an hour before our flight LOL

Love the flower thingy scarf of Jeju Air's cabin crew by the way hehe

We stayed in Seogwipo which is roughly an hour away from Jeju city.
There are no subways in Jeju by the way.
It's best to take the Airport bus that roams around the island every couple of minutes.
Also compared to Seoul, it's still a bit hard to communicate in English here.

Our guest house, which is pretty near to almost all spots in Seogwipo

Arang Joeul Food street!

Most of the stores open late though, so it's better to go here for dinner.

guide map for the food wanderers ;)

Love how most of the menus/posters have an English translation.
Good job Jeju tourism!

Well I guess this resto wasn't informed haha
Nonetheless, the pictures look enticing!

Um, dog meat anyone?

There are several orange plantations/farms scattered in Jeju as well.
Glad that there's one close to our hotel......so we could take photo-ops! nyahaha

Jeju oranges are the sweetest I've ever tried in my existence!
and I'm not even exaggerating!

Hallabong oranges, a specialty of Jeju Island.
You must definitely try these!! They are the sweetest and tastiest!

There's also a lot of cookies/chocolates infused with Hallabong

Some of the treats I got from the market.
Love the cactus chocolate crunch!

If you're not so keen on eating oranges, just drink its juice!
Very refreshing

Nothing special. Just got curious coz of "Jeju" milk haha

Lovely flowers~

Nice to see you cherry blossom!

This statue is all around Jeju!
It's called "Dol hareubang" which symbolizes fertility and prosperity.

Accidentally saw this view while roaming around the park.

A view of Hallasan Mountain

K-PUB BBQ, The Fort

Voucher Price: P999 valued at P1959 via Metrodeal

Been craving Korean food after our tour last March -which btw, I'll be blogging about soon!
And what do you know, perfect timing for this deal o'yeah~

You get to choose unlimited meat and side dishes from their Set C menu
We got the beef short rib, beef sukiyaki, pork belly, korean bacon, chicken in sweet soy sauce, fish tofu and japchae.
We didn't get too much since it's just me and my mom sharing ;)

First batch of side dishes LOL
basically: kimchi, mashed potato, bean sprouts, anchovies, spicy tofu and pickled onions

Complete side dish~
Steamed egg, Kimchi pajeon, House salad, spring rolls, soup etc.

Love their House salad with sesame dressing YUM

Grill time!

Verdict:

FOOD
Most of it just tasted mediocre.
The bacon and sukiyaki were bland =/ I wish they provided salt and pepper.
The tofu, chicken and pork belly would be your safe bet ;)

SERVICE
Slow service.
Though they gave most of the side dishes fast, it was very slow for most of the meat to be served. Hence, my rice got cold already when all of the meat arrived :(

THE MAIN QUESTION
Will I go back?
Nope.
It's enough I got to experience it thanks to Metrodeal but I guess I'll just go to an authentic Korean resto next time!
