Knickers Haul

Recently, I've been buying myself cute underwear. I don't know if it's some mid-life crisis I'm going through but I just realized that beautiful underwear makes me feel good about myself lol. I guess I'm taking the phrase "beautiful from the inside and out" literally and seriously haha

So yea, here are some of my recent buys over the past months..

I got this nude lace panty during the BPI summer sale held at SMX last April.
Triumph  had a booth and they had this lingerie brand called Valisere.
I was looking around for some panties when I saw this pair with its tag originally priced at P1400 down to P250! Now, that's a SALE! ;)

The back is brazilian cut which I totally love <3
Just look at the details of the lace, so exquisite right?

My go-to store for cute underwear would probably be Forever 21
They practically sell cute and inexpensive underwear all year. You don't even need to wait for any sale!
But to be honest, these 3 pairs were on sale when I bought them *ooops*
Price: 3 pairs for P500. Awesome deal right?!

I just noticed that Bench body sell nice and affordable lingerie too.
This lovely costs P229 ;)

Don't you just love its back? Soooo pretty!
This one has a little bit of a brazilian cut to it too.

I also got some basic cottons priced at P150 for 2. Nice!

And for my most recent purchase, I got these 2 gorgeous lacey brazilians from the Holy grail, Marks and Spencer
This is my first pair from M&S and it certainly won't be the last.
I swear, it feels so luxurious it's like I'm royalty haha. You're prolly wondering how much these are huh? Well, I also got them discounted! Lucky me, just went inside the store not knowing it was their 1st day of sale.
Apparently, their first day of sale are exclusive for loyalty members and Citibank card holders. Unfortunately I ain't one of those so the cashier suggested that I just apply for a loyalty card.
Because of that, I got additional 5% off on my items! nice perks M&S!

Price: P355 each (+5% off)
orig price: P595

Roxy Online SALE 2013

You've prolly noticed the Roxy sale ads on your Facebook sidebar right?

Well if you haven't, then it looks like this! and guess who succumbed to this wonderful ad and made a purchase?? Nuh-uh, not me...hahaha

So anyway, Roxy has been one of the leading swimwear brands since hmmm..I really don't know, 1901?lol
Well I'm not gonna lie, I've been ogling at their cute swimwear since I was a teen so they've been definitely in the business for a long time. I remember, I always go to delias.com and just "window shop" at Roxy bikinis. Of course, I can never get myself to buy a pair coz I was a broke teener haha who am I kidding P2-3k worth for a pair of itsy bitsy swimwear??!! My parents would never cash out on that either lol
But lo and behold, 10 years later and my prayers have been answered! An online sale!!!
wuhoooo! dream come true!

So yea, this was the design that caught my lovely eyes :))
So cute right? Tropical, fun and flirty just the way I like it!

I used to like bandeaus til I noticed that triangle bikinis made me look thinner.
So this was perfect!!!

What made it even more perfect is the 40% off!
From P3490 it became P1890
Shipping was P340 but they had an additional 15% promo code so total cost was P1946.50
Score! I saw this design in Duty Free and was priced at 77 freagin dollars o_O
In addition to that, my shipment was upgraded from standard shipping to UPS. Awesome sauce!

Initially, I thought the product would be delivered from the PH since I ordered from roxy.com.ph right? lol
But when I checked the tracking site of my package, I was surprised that it will come all the way from its motherland, down under, Australia! haha

So basically, my bikini is a jet setter. lol
But nice, 3 days of shipping?! Bravo, UPS!

Here it is in the flesh!!!
My gawd, this is the prettiest bikini I've ever owned haha. Not to mention the impeccable quality of the material. Now I know why Roxy bikinis are freaking expensive lol!
For sure, I'd be shopping online again at Roxy muahaha :))

Mango End of Season SALE: June-July 2013

I think by now you've noticed that most, if not all stores, are on its end of season sale. Gaaah!!!
It's times like these where I wish my wallet would magically produce money on its own LOL!
Anyhow, one of the stores where I was able to score a few sale items was Mango. I believe a lot of women frantically anticipate the brands' sale so if you can't go on its first day, then good luck finding a size of your desired clothing #truestory haha.

So here's some of the clothes that my mom and I bought :) ~yeah, I always go shopping w/her, fyi ;)

Dot print jumpsuit: P2450
orig price: P2750

Yea , I know the reduced price is not that much but who could resist this?!
And the fact that it was in XS!!!! lol I rarely see XS items a couple
of days after the first day of sale so I knew I had to get this! I didn't even fit it anymore haha
but don't worry, it's perfect!

closer look at the print

Pocket Top: P995
orig price: P1450

I like wash and wear tops like this. It's so versatile, never goes out of style and really comfy!

Racerback top: P995

Believe it or not, this top is my mum's haha ;)
pretty, right?

Cotton blouse: P750

Metrobank Fitflop X Sanuk Sale

A few days ago, my mom received a text from Metrobank informing us of its "exclusive" sale
for Fitflop and Sanuk on June 21-23, 2013 at the Rockwell Tent. We've been waiting since forever for Fitflop to have something like the annual Crocs sale so we definitely crossed out all our appointments to go on its 1st day! early bird gets the early freagin worm right?! haha

Ok, so how "exclusive" was the sale? Since it's organized by Metrobank, you'd be thinking only Metrobank card holders would be able to enter right? Well, not exactly. I don't know with the others but in our experience, they didn't even ask to see my Mom's credit card lol. We just fell in line, waited, got stamped and BOOM, attack! lol BUT ofcourse, only Metrobank cards were allowed for cc payments.

So here are some pictures from the event!

 REMINDERS!

Let's start with the Fitflop :)

  some styles that were available

orig price: 3000 above

Women: P1000

To be honest, I wasn't really interested in Sanuk till this day. I would usually just pass by its stores when I'm at the mall *ooops*

Women's/Men's slippers: P500-970
orig prize: P1290 above

But let me tell you, these are one, if not THE most comfiest slippers I've ever tried on!

Sanuk for kids

Sooooo pretty! I got a pair of these for myself but in brown :)

and this one I got in black. sadly, no more size for me in this color :(

"tropical" and "spam" designs

when worn...

perfect for everyday wear!

some snacks available:

Happy bread

and Joanie's cupcakes. There was also Bumble Tea w/c sold milk tea and other refreshments.

Now here's something shocking and sad. While waiting in line for payment, (which approximately took 4 annoying hours! lol) we saw some stocks that other customers left/decided not to get at the side/corner!!!! WTH???? These shoes normally cost around 3-4,000 freagin pesos and will just be treated like some P50 fake havanas??!!lol

really??? you can't even spare a second to go back to the counter and return the ones you don't wanna get anymore? tsk

And here's 1/8 of the magical line I was telling you lol
