FBF: Dressing Room Series 21

Sadly, the time has come to end my TBT/FBF dressing room posts :(
Don't fret, I'll still continue with my regular dressing room selfies and I'll try to think of something else for my circa entries <3

Anyway, here are my last two outfits for TBT/FBF dressing room series!

Don't you just love tops with surprise back details like this?
A mix of cute and sexy with ribbons in each cut-out. Adorbs <3
Paired with denim lace shorties and mid-gladiator sandals for the ultimate casual look.

SM Mega Fashion Hall Eats

I've had the chance of visiting Mega Fashion Hall for quite a few times the past weeks, trying out some of the restos they have there. Yea I admit, I was full on pig-mode for most of October huhuhu.
Anyway, here's a compilation of my recent foodieventures there! :)

I remember the first time I became aware of Ippudo's existence was when Tricia G. mentioned it a number of times on her blog/instagram that it's the best ramen ever LOL

I guess it stands true since Ippudo Manila has been experiencing Tim Ho Wan waiting line levels ever since it opened to the public!
With that said, we decided to go there on a Friday afternoon (around 4.30 pm) to avoid the crazy line of other curious foodies hihi
Achievement unlocked! as we only waited for less than 20 mins ;)

"The holy entrance" to ramen heaven nyahahaha

condiments: pepper, sesame seeds and garlic + garlic crusher
*I want my ramen to retain its original taste so I didn't use any of these anymore*
:)

Shiromaru Motoaji Tamago P361.61
Basically an upgraded version of their Shiromaru Motoaji because an egg was added haha

My bowl!
It's hard for me to describe in detail why I enjoyed eating this coz as long as the ramen has a steaming hot flavorful broth, soft pork belly and an egg -I'd definitely love it!
Yea, I'm easy to please just don't serve me a half-warm ramen like what Nagi did! tsk

evidence =P

Akamaru Shinaji P348.21
-original tokotsu broth enchanced w/special  miso paste and  garlic oil

Meanwhile, my mom got this one and she also liked it! #nomz

<3
Sadly, their pork buns were already sold out when we got there.
Oh well, hope to try it next time!

Who can resist these desserts display??!!
It actually took me 10 mins before I completely decided on what to get kkk

kakigori overload!!
I wanna try their sandwich next time.
Kris A. said it was yummy when she featured this shop on Kris TV! haha

As much as I wanted to order everything on the menu LOL
I had to contain myself and ordered only these two ;)

Kyoto delight P250
-vanilla soft serve, green tea ice cream, adzuki, mochi and corn flakes.
YUM
If you like classic japanese dessert flavors such as green tea and adzuki beans, then you'd love this!

*too pretty to eat*

ChocoCro P55
I love croissants and this version has ultimately become my fave <3

Heard they have a new flavor now -Marbled Chocolate. Sounds delish too!

Just look at that creamy chocolate filling oozing out! #foodgasm
I like that their chocolate was not too sweet, which is a Japanese trademark (they don't have diabetes level sweetness for their desserts)
Nice!

Beside St. Marc Cafe is this equally delightful desserts place!
Their macarons are to die for so when Deal Grocer offered a voucher for it, I immediately purchased one!

box of 21 macarons
voucher price: P825 valued at P1200 via Deal Grocer

I got: Speculoos, Peanut Butter, Mint Chocolate,
Red Velvet, Pistachio. Black Sesame,
Dark Chocolate and Salted Caramel <3

My faves were Dark Choco, Black Sesame and Salted Caramel :)

Me and our gigantic order =P

Mango Yakult P138 -this tasted like Mango ice candy! YUM.
Ice Tea P98

Fuwatoro Tanshin Han Set: P650 (good for 2)
-a big bowl of omelette curry rice, 12 pcs of original gyoza, 2 servings of miso soup and fruits -watermelon and pineapple

I highly recommend this set for couples or 2 people dining together!

closer look at their gyoza <3
I asked my Japanese bf if it tasted the same like the ones in Japan, and he said YES!
nice one Osaka Osho!

miso soup is always a staple

Fuwatoro Tanshin Han
this was already a meal on its own.
serving was so big, we almost didn't finish it haha

dome of omu rice goodness! O_O

*Wanna try their cheese gyoza next time!*

This stall was not located at fashion hall actually but whatevs, I'll still include it in this post hihi

I've never tried croughnuts during the time of its hype and I've been constantly seeing a lot of delectable instagram pics of Bronuts for quite some time now hehe #stalkermuch

It comes with a hefty price though:
Singles: P110
Box of 3: P330
Box of 6: P600

Got myself a box of 6:
PMS, Belgian Choco w/Salted Caramel, Pylones
Cream Cheese and Bacon, Tiramisu and Milo dinosaur

My favorite was the Cream Cheese Bacon and Belgian Choco.
Though, wasn't able to try the PMS coz my brother ate it grrrrr :(
But to be honest, I was a bit disappointed as it didn't taste exceptionally good as it looks.
A box of J.Co or Dunkin D's would still be more practical and yummier than these.

Dinner Buffet: La Fiesta Filipino

With the influx of buffet restos in the metro, one would expect that a buffet specifically dedicated to Filipino cuisine would arise sooner or later.
So now, I present to you La Fiesta ~largest Filipino buffet! wuhooo!

Of course, we had to wait for a voucher for this (#cheapskate lol) so it took us several months after it opened to dine here *cough #excuses *cough =P

Voucher Price: P639 valued at P799 via Metrodeal

here I am enjoying my baboy dinner =P

Yes, that's only for one person =P

My bowl of papaitan nom nom

Kare-kare, adobo, chopsuey, liempo, adobo rice and some fried insect hehe

tempura, pinakbet, lasagna, meatball, kangkong, lechon kawali, laing, lechon, and kaldereta

*yea, it's not entirely "filipino" after all =P

ginataang kuhol and my assorted bbq
sadly, the bbq was hard and cold already =/

puto, pastillas, mini crepe, brownie, kutsinta
buko juice and kamias shake at the back

pandan, ube and cheese pastillas
these were soooo good!!

my refreshing kamias shake

highlight: the roaming mamang sorbetero!

ube, macapuno and mango "dirty" ice cream

dessert spread
this was the only area i got to take a pic of
sorry, got preoccupied and forgot to take the others :(

unfortunately, they didn't have my faves puto bumbong, bibinka, leche flan and buko pandan salad =/

capped off with lemon tea

Verdict:

FOOD
Their selection of viands were really good.
You could see all of our well-known local dishes here.
BUT, desserts lacked most of our popular sweets like what I mentioned earlier -I wish they served ice candy too!

Also, I wish they serve the bbqs like how we would normally do it in the streets -different kinds arrayed altogether and letting the customer choose w/c ones to be grilled.
In that way, we could eat it while it's still hot and juicy!

SERVICE
No complaints.
They were attentive and really helpful, even offering to get me some drink I wanted :)

THE MAIN QUESTION
Will I go back?
Hmmm, prolly not too soon.
But I guess this is a good resto to bring my balikbayan relatives and friends!

Macau 2014

So good to be able to go back to Macau.
The first time I went here, the casino hotels were just being built so it's nice to see everything finish now.

Once you arrive at the terminal (from HK), you just need to cross the underpass and find your free shuttle bus to your hotel! Cool right? I'm not sure if they cover all Macau hotels but all the big ones are there ie: Venetian, Galaxy, MGM etc.

No need to worry if you've been left behind as the bus go around every 5-10 mins ;)

We chose to stay at the Venetian :)
Every corner was absolutely lovely <3

If you are planning to stay here in the future, I highly recommend you book early and get the 30 days in advanced promo as The Venetian offers 20% off the room rate.

It's really worth it so don't miss out on that chance!
Here are some evidences haha

We got the royal suite w/c was really spacious with 70 sq.m (!)
Our room in mini hotel is not even half of the bathroom! LOL

I fell in love with the interiors.
Anything adorned with gold is just so majestic, don't u think?

Wish I can just move out and live in this hotel room!haha

At the royal hallway

Now off to the "shoppes area"

The stores here are actually divided into three: Shoppes at 4 Seasons, Venetian and Cotai Central.
And the best thing about it is that everything is duty free! wuhoo!
This is really a shopahalic's paradise <3

Alternatively, you might just wanna stroll and take pictures of the surroundings if you don't wanna spend money hihi

You could obviously see I went with option #2 :)

Moreover, you could also ride the gondola for that ultimate touristy experience hihi
Hey, it's not called the Venetian for nothing =P

A different area of shoppes where it gives you that evening look for a more romantic feel <3

Great Hall.
This was the most beautiful part for me.
It just screams luxury!
You could see a a part of the casinos beneath and under the escalators is the Rolex store! haha talk about good location!

If you're worried about the Venetian being so grand, fret not as they have a food court which offers meals at reasonable price range ;)

They have international choices here from thai, vietnamese, indian and ofcourse local cuisine.

What we got: congee + minced pork set

The only thing that bothered me during the stay was the crowd aka group tours who would do their sight seeing the whole day! Omg, it literally felt like a jungle with so much people coming in/out/walking around =/
Venetian instantly turned into an amusement park with all the tourists!

I wish they would set some limitations for these group tours. Yea, I get that it's a casino + shopping haven, and they need money LOL but this was just way too much for a hotel guest like me.
When you're on vacay, you'd want some peace and serenity, not pandemonium =P

Anyway, back to the "shoppes"
This was my one of my fave stores. It's like a mini department store that offered lots of cute and girly items.

They were on sale too that day, so I got myself a pretty messenger bag 70% off!

dainty accessories

Moving on, Galaxy hotel is just across Venetian.
IMO, it had prettier exteriors hehe
Also, the free shuttle bus going to the city can be found here~

hotel buildings right next to each other

side snap of the Grand Lisboa

This street also leads you to Wynn Macau

Senado Square

it was scorching hot that day, we decided to go back to our hotel after a couple minutes haha
FAIL

<3
