July buys + SM Southmall Aug Sale!

So as you all know, sale season starts around July here in Ph.
Making me love and hate that month at the same time lol
Love, coz I get to buy really good deals and hate coz that means goodbye to my savings nyahaha

Anyway, here's some of my finds -both sale and regular priced :)

V Zipper Maillot P700 original price: 1750

Super in love with this style!
I've been eyeing the aztec print for quite some time but when they went on sale, sizes ran out so fast =/
But still happy got it in this baby blue print! LOVE <3

Como High Waist P900 orig price: 1800
Got my mom this cute high waist since she loves this kind of swimwear style ;)

Now ain't these such beauties? <3
Ever since Rosie's lingerie collaboration with M&S went out, I've been always on the look out to when it was going to be on sale LOL
It's so lovely but of course I can't seem to bring myself to spend so much money on lingerie, so better to wait for the sale instead hihi..
And well patience really is a virtue since I got these at 70% off! wuhoo!
Unfortunately, can't remember exactly how much I got these for soweee =(

Dumaguete, Aug 2014

After our Siquijor getaway, we transferred to Dumaguete and stayed for 2 days and checked in at Honeycomb Tourist Inn, which I highly recommend coz of its great location!

Got the double room with twin beds P1000/night
...which comes with a complimentary breakfast!

Tocino meal

Boneless Bangus meal

Since we already went here last year, we didn't do much sight-seeing anymore.
Just some food trip! hehe

A must-try hole in the wall resto, Cafe Antonio.

What I love most is their outdoor seating area <3

Got their watermelon juice and some shake, sorry forgot what it was!lol

#yumz

Seafood Kebab
This was really yummy!

Grilled Tuna
Unfortunately, the fish was dry =/

Next stop is at my favorite, Sans Rival Cakes & Pastries <3
This store is one of my ultimate favorite resto in Dumaguete.
If you ask me, it's a bit similar to Conti's, serving hot meals + cakes and pastries for a reasonable price!

This time I tried their White Chocolate Lava Cake

and OMG, it's soooo sinful.
Cake was really moist and the lava had just the right amount of sweetness. Perfect!

Of course, had to get their famous Sylvannas.
I prefer the chocolate version.

Roast Pork with Gravy
-the pork was tender but the sauce was a bit sweet for my taste

Salpicao
-tender and flavorful

Date and Walnut Dacquoise
-new found discovery! not too sweet and had enough servings of walnut yum!

"completing" my trip by eating at the popular street food at Rizal boulevard

..and had this amazing view while eating my fishballs and tempura(kikiam) lol

YES I DO!!
can't wait to go back <3

Siquijor, Aug 2014

So nice to be able to go back to Siquijor a few weeks ago!
We have already went here last December but we stayed in a different town and the beach wasn't really nice so now I'm excited to show you the best part of Siquijor (IMO) ;)

We stayed at Salagdoong Beach Resort in the town of Maria.
Roughly, it takes about 1.5-2 hours to get here from the port.

We stayed at the villa near the beach. They have rooms uphill but I think it's tiring going back and forth if you wanna swim or eat.
The villa costs P1,600/night good for 3-4 people.

We arrived lunch time and the water was at its perfect hue omg!

Yes, there's a slide that leads straight to ocean water LOL

but it's out of order, unfortunately =P

They have 2 twin beaches.
This side has stronger waves, more rocks and cleaner water.

The other side has weaker waves, less rocks but dirtier water coz of the leaves floating around haha
We prefer to swim here though.

They have a diving spot too!

Meals at Salagdoong are a bit expensive ranging P100+ for a viand w/o rice =/

The next day,we decided to go to Cambugahay falls since we weren't able to go here last time.
It takes about 40 minutes to go here by motorbike from the resort and there's NO entrance fee ;)

You need to walk more than 100 steps going down.

The falls was just absolute beauty!
It was also nice that there weren't much other people when we came yay!

It has 4 or 5 levels I think? lol
We only went to 3 and this is the top most part we were able to go to.

Ahhh, I'm in paradise <3

My shower is bigger than yours! haha
This is at the 2nd level

The 1st level is the most fun as you can swing and free fall as much as you like!

We also dropped by the famous Cang-Isok house which is the oldest surviving house in Siquijor.
It's a 200 yr old ancestral house that has been withstanding all the typhoons and other natural disasters strongly wow!

Last stop was a lovely church which name I forgot, sorry hehe :)
