Macau 2014

So good to be able to go back to Macau.
The first time I went here, the casino hotels were just being built so it's nice to see everything finish now.

Once you arrive at the terminal (from HK), you just need to cross the underpass and find your free shuttle bus to your hotel! Cool right? I'm not sure if they cover all Macau hotels but all the big ones are there ie: Venetian, Galaxy, MGM etc.

No need to worry if you've been left behind as the bus go around every 5-10 mins ;)

We chose to stay at the Venetian :)
Every corner was absolutely lovely <3

If you are planning to stay here in the future, I highly recommend you book early and get the 30 days in advanced promo as The Venetian offers 20% off the room rate.

It's really worth it so don't miss out on that chance!
Here are some evidences haha

We got the royal suite w/c was really spacious with 70 sq.m (!)
Our room in mini hotel is not even half of the bathroom! LOL

I fell in love with the interiors.
Anything adorned with gold is just so majestic, don't u think?

Wish I can just move out and live in this hotel room!haha

At the royal hallway

Now off to the "shoppes area"

The stores here are actually divided into three: Shoppes at 4 Seasons, Venetian and Cotai Central.
And the best thing about it is that everything is duty free! wuhoo!
This is really a shopahalic's paradise <3

Alternatively, you might just wanna stroll and take pictures of the surroundings if you don't wanna spend money hihi

You could obviously see I went with option #2 :)

Moreover, you could also ride the gondola for that ultimate touristy experience hihi
Hey, it's not called the Venetian for nothing =P

A different area of shoppes where it gives you that evening look for a more romantic feel <3

Great Hall.
This was the most beautiful part for me.
It just screams luxury!
You could see a a part of the casinos beneath and under the escalators is the Rolex store! haha talk about good location!

If you're worried about the Venetian being so grand, fret not as they have a food court which offers meals at reasonable price range ;)

They have international choices here from thai, vietnamese, indian and ofcourse local cuisine.

What we got: congee + minced pork set

The only thing that bothered me during the stay was the crowd aka group tours who would do their sight seeing the whole day! Omg, it literally felt like a jungle with so much people coming in/out/walking around =/
Venetian instantly turned into an amusement park with all the tourists!

I wish they would set some limitations for these group tours. Yea, I get that it's a casino + shopping haven, and they need money LOL but this was just way too much for a hotel guest like me.
When you're on vacay, you'd want some peace and serenity, not pandemonium =P

Anyway, back to the "shoppes"
This was my one of my fave stores. It's like a mini department store that offered lots of cute and girly items.

They were on sale too that day, so I got myself a pretty messenger bag 70% off!

dainty accessories

Moving on, Galaxy hotel is just across Venetian.
IMO, it had prettier exteriors hehe
Also, the free shuttle bus going to the city can be found here~

hotel buildings right next to each other

This street also leads you to Wynn Macau

Senado Square

it was scorching hot that day, we decided to go back to our hotel after a couple minutes haha
